Overview of Manzari Invest

Manzari Invest is a simple, easy-to-use research app built for people who want to understand companies before they invest in them. Instead of hype or fast trading, the app focuses on clear information, real SEC filings, and long-term fundamentals.

  • Real-time SEC filings
  • Manually curated stock ideas
  • A personal favorites list
  • Fast, distraction-free research

Below is a breakdown of each tab in the app and how to use it.

Stocks Tab

The Stocks tab contains investment ideas and research notes that I manually update. These aren’t automated feeds—they reflect what I’m personally watching, researching, or considering for long-term investing.

Here’s what you’ll typically find:

Companies I’m Watching

These are stocks that have caught my attention due to strong fundamentals, valuation changes, or meaningful company updates.
While I do look at some technical indicators, my decisions are mostly based on the fundamentals of the business. If a trade idea is based primarily on technicals, I’ll clearly mention that in the write-up.
I also note when an idea comes from sources like Zacks or Motley Fool so you know where it originated.

Long-Term Opportunities

These are companies I plan to hold for an extended period — typically years, not weeks. Long-term positions are based on financial strength, growth potential, and overall business quality.
Some of my recent long-term wins include AST SpaceMobile and BNY Mellon (videos on these will be linked later).

Notable Filings & Updates

If a company releases an important 8-K, 10-Q, or other significant filing, I may highlight it here so you know it’s worth reading.

Early Research Ideas

Sometimes I include early-stage concepts or companies I’m just beginning to evaluate. These may or may not turn into full long-term ideas later.

All updates are manually reviewed and added by me to keep the information focused, relevant, and easy to understand.

Favorites Tab

The Filings tab gives you real-time access to the latest SEC filings for publicly traded companies. These documents come directly from the SEC’s EDGAR system and update automatically throughout the day.

Filings are one of the most reliable ways to understand what’s really happening inside a company—beyond headlines, social media, or market hype.

Here’s what you’ll see most often:

10-K (Annual Report)

A full, yearly overview of a company’s business. It includes financial results, risks, long-term strategy, and everything investors need to know. This is one of the most important filings for long-term investors.

10-Q (Quarterly Report)

A quarterly update that covers earnings, revenue, expenses, and recent changes in performance. It’s shorter than a 10-K but extremely useful for seeing how a company is doing right now.

8-K (Current Events Report)

Used when a company announces something important, such as, leadership changes, mergers and acquisitions, guidance updates, major business events, and press releases. 8-Ks help you understand sudden moves in the stock price.

13F (Institutional Holdings)

Filed by major investment firms every quarter. It shows which stocks big money managers bought or sold. 13Fs can be helpful to see where institutional interest is going.

SD (Specialized Disclosure)

Covers specific compliance topics such as sourcing materials or environmental responsibility. These aren’t as common but are still relevant for certain industries.

Other Filing Types

You may occasionally see amendments (10-K/A, 10-Q/A), proxy statements, insider forms, or other company disclosures.

Filings give you real, verified information, direct updates from the company, early signs of risk or opportunity, data that’s not filtered through news outlets, it’s one of the best ways to understand any company you follow.

How to Use the Filings Tab, just browse the latest filings as they come in. Tap on a filing to view it in full. Use filings to support your research or long-term investment decisions. The Filings tab updates automatically, so you’ll always see the newest disclosures first.

Favorites Tab

The Favorites tab lets you save important stocks, filings, or updates so you can revisit them quickly whenever you want. Think of it as your personal watchlist inside the app.
